  • ELDT is a mandatory training program for individuals seeking to obtain a commercial driver's license (CDL) for the first time or upgrade an existing CDL. It includes both classroom instruction and behind-the-wheel training.

  • Any individual who is applying for a Class A or B CDL, upgrading an existing CDL, or seeking a hazardous materials (H) endorsement is required to complete ELDT.

  • Yes, you must pass both a theory test and a skills test to successfully complete the ELDT and be eligible for your CDL.

  • We require a learner's permit before you can be permitted to drive on public roads. However, we can help you complete your theory and pre-trip instruction before obtaining your permit.

  • The ELDT program covers a variety of topics, including vehicle inspection, basic control, safe operating practices, hours of service, and cargo handling, among others.

  • The duration of the ELDT program varies depending on the student's availability and learning pace but typically takes a few months to complete.

  • Absolutely! Our program is tailored to fit around the average workday, with most classes and driving sessions scheduled for late afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

  • Some portions of the ELDT program, such as the theory instruction, may be available online, but the behind-the-wheel training must be completed in person.

  • Upon successful completion of the ELDT program, you will be eligible to take the State CDL skills test. After passing the test, you will be issued a CDL, allowing you to begin your career as a commercial driver.

  • We offer an introductory classes frequently.  Road and Range Training will be scheduled on a first come, first serve basis. Road and Range Training will be scheduled in 2 hour blocks, Tuesday, Wednesday ,Thursday, Friday Evenings and Weekend Days

  • Fill out our simple application and we wil let you know if you are accepted into our program, upon acceptance we require a $500.00 non refundable deposit to attend the introductory class.  If you choose to continue with your tranining, then the balance is due in full and not refundable.

  • Students are responsible for state fees related to obtaining a learner’s permit and completing CDL testing. A DOT medical card is also required if you do not already have one.

  • All sales are final. No refunds are issued for any reason. A non-refundable $500 deposit is required to reserve a seat. Seats are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.
